The Literary Adventure Society does not accept returns or exchanges for their products, with the exception of special circumstances listed below.

Damaged Goods

If a product arrives broken, badly damaged, or not-intact, please contact us, and provide a picture of the damaged goods, so that we can assess the damage and make a plan. If a single element in the package is broken, damaged, or absent, we may choose to resend just that element. If multiple elements are damaged or the entirety of the box has been compromised, we will likely send an entirely new product, or will issue a refund. We consider any wear-and-tear or damage to the exterior packaging (the shipping box) to be an unfortunate, but normal, part of the shipping experience. As long as the interior product is unaffected by this, we do not consider this to be “damaged goods”. Reports of damaged goods must happen within 60 days of receipt. If the item in question is no longer in stock, we will work with you to find a solution. 

Wrong Items

If we are in error and sent you something other than what you have ordered, we will ship you the correct package as soon as possible, at no charge to you. If that item is no longer in stock, we will work with you to find a solution.

Lost Package

We will provide you with a tracking number when your item is shipped. If the item is lost in transit, please contact us. We will first use the tracking number to try to locate the product, and if we are unsuccessful, then we will either issue a refund or send out a new product, based on preference.


We do not accept returns, except if our product is unable to be delivered or sent to an incorrect address, and is automatically returned via postal carrier. If this is the case, please contact us, and once the package returns to us (the sender), we will either resend or issue a refund, based on preference. If a package is unable to be delivered more than once, we will not resend it. If a package is unable to be delivered due to our error, it will be immediately replaced.


All sales are final. If you change your mind about an order, or placed an order in error, please contact us within 24 hours. If your package has not yet shipped, we may be able to issue a cancellation.
